This tutorial walks you through building a high-intent buyer segment from scratch. You'll combine behavioral events with firmographic attributes and activate the segment to an ad platform in real-time.
Step 1: Navigate to Segments
From your workspace dashboard, click Audiences in the left sidebar, then click New Segment. Give your segment a descriptive name — we'll use "High-Intent Enterprise Buyers" for this tutorial.
Step 2: Add a Behavioral Condition
Click Add Condition and select Event. Choose "Viewed Pricing Page" from the event dropdown. Set the time window to "in the last 14 days" and the count to "at least 2 times". This targets visitors who have shown repeated pricing intent.
Step 3: Add a Firmographic Filter
Click Add Condition again and select Profile Attribute. Choose company.employee_count and set the operator to "greater than" with a value of 200. This narrows the segment to enterprise accounts.
Step 4: Preview and Activate
Click Preview to see a live count of matching profiles. When you're satisfied, click Activate and choose your destination — Google Ads, LinkedIn, or a webhook endpoint. The segment will start syncing immediately, and membership updates will flow in real-time as profiles change.
